Language without love is just noise

What is love? How many times a day do you here I love you? Today's world has polluted love into nothing but lust. We think it's love but it isn't. We can't full understand love. It's impossible to understand the bond between a mother and her child. It's impossible to fathom the love a father has for his daughter. It most certainly is hard to understand God's love for us. GOD IS LOVE. In 1 Corinthians it describes love in many words.

Love is patient.

Love is kind. It does not envy,

it does not boast. It is

not proud. It is not

rude,

it is not self seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no

record of wrongs.

Love does not delight

in evil but rejoices with truth.

It always protects, always trust, always hopes, always perseveres.

LOVE NEVER FAILS.

He said. She said. They said. Gossip. Gossip hurts. Today I got my share of gossip. Gossip spreads like wild fire, and is today's language. Everything on the news is gossip. Pretty much all teenage conversations are gossip. It's impossible to avoid. I have to try really hard not to judge someone by what someone else says. I try only to believe what I see with my own eyes. Gossip can ruin a friendship faster than a cheetah on cocaine! Well thankfully I took care of the problem. The best way to avoid gossip is not to spread it or listen to it. What's weird is how much faster gossip spreads than any other news. You never see anything good about celebs. It's always who's pregnant and who's broken up. Same thing on the news. There's hardly any good news! It's always about the economy, murders, conspiracy, etc. The good news is that there is good news. And that's what I am called to spread as a born again christian. THE GOOD NEWS

Paint the town

Well I'm thinking about trying out for One act play at my school. Allot of my friends do it and say it's a blast. Even if you don't get a roll, you can do stage crew. It only last for about a month, so what have i got to loose? I'm not much of an actor, but I'll give it a try. I can just see it. Ill pass out from stage fright! I did do a few plays in elementary school. Maybe I won't be horrible. It'll give us some laughs anyway. My friend Sam is the one who convinced me to do it. Oh! She told me the funniest joke today. I just had to share it. L.M.F.O.

A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience.
"Oh, I really liked it," she replied, "especially the tight pants and all the big muscles, but I just couldn't understand why they were killing each other over 25 cents."
Dumbfounded, her date asked, "What do you mean?"
"Well, they flipped a coin, one team got it and then for the rest of the game, all they kept screaming was: 'Get the quarterback! Get the quarterback!' I'm like...Helloooooo? It's only 25 cents!!!!"

Chills.........

Quarantine. I loved this movie. It's about a fire department and a reporter that get trapped in an apartment building. A person that had been in the attic developed a virus that spread by getting into your bloodstream. Basically ZOMBIES!The movie was film left behind by the reporter and film crew. In the end everyone dies! I was so freaked out. Especially when the zombie girl took a bite out of her mom! It was so creepy! ugh! Chills. Anyway, it was a really good movie that I recommend watching, if you like getting scared.

The unborn. I've heard allot about this movie and was excited about watching it. Going to my grandmas was the perfect opportunity to watch it. Every time I go to my grandmas I watched movies, tons and tons of movies. The Unborn was a really creepy movie. It was about a demon that was haunting this girl. The demon was in between worlds and could only come to earth in the body of another. The demon possessed people around the girl in an attempt to isolate her. in the end she defeated the demon by reciting God's word. On the bad side she lost all her friends to the demon. All in all it was a pretty good movie.

Music is love in a word<3

Music- an organized sound. Music is more than that to me. Music is free, and passionate. It doesn't have to be organized or even make since. it just needs to be an expression of yourself.

To me music is an escape. Anytime I can depend on music. If I want to dance around, music's there. If I want to cry, music's there. Music is God's gift to us. It's another way to worship him. you know the goosebumps feeling you here a powerful song? That's God. Music is meant to lift you up. It's meant to help you forget your troubles and praise God. If you know me, then you know I love all types of music. everything doesn't have to be christian. By know means am I approving inappropriate music. Music has many sides like a more expressive side. The more soft side to music includes softer and more heart felt lyrics. With all the music out there it's hard to know what to listen to, but that's what makes it fun. :)

Discernment..

This Sunday I found out what discernment means, at least from a christian perspective. To discern God is to understand his plan for you. Wow I doubt anyone knows God's complete plan for their life. We're not supposed to. We might understand a little, but we will never fully understand God. It would literally blow our mind! We couldn't discern it. God is to powerful for us to understand his ways. It's a little scary giving him complete control over your life, but he created you right? So, he made you for something. Why not let him show you? It's a whole lot easier than fighting him. Trust God! I could learn something from this as well. Giving god the steering will is better than doing things "your way". Trust me you'll hit so many dead ends without God. It's so much easier with him on our side. So let's give God the benefit of the doubt, and let him show us what he has in store for us. I promise if you let him, he will bless you so much!

Raining on my parade.

It's still raining. Gosh! who called a monsoon? Ha. I think I might do an anti-rain dance. Rain is a pet peeve of mine. Yea I know, I'm weird. I know we need rain, but it causes allot of problems, which i won't go on and on about. Basically it bumbs me out. Although I hate rain, it does provide intersting pictures. So it's not all bad.

This world has nothing for me.....

Well today at church two of my friends got baptised. They were saved at Youth Week west, which I previously talked about. It's been hard for them, coming home to all their previous friends. It's really hard to stay "changed" when your back in your comfort zone. I just pray they will stick to their decision. Walking the walk is harder than talking the talk. Sorry, I couldn't get a really good pic. I had to pull my phone out in church to take a pic. I felt really awkward. Lol. Phones and church do not mix. How can you be touched by God if your in another conversation? Phones bring the outside world in the church. It should be the exact opposite. The church should take things to the world. When I'm in church I try to forget the outside world, and give God the time he deserves. Isn't that the point of worship? It's about God and not you. That is our purpose on earth, to worship God. That's really hard for me. My selfish side wants it to be about what I get out of it, but it's not. IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS CHRIST! We are blessed so we can bless others. That's our job.

Anyway, Lacey is on the left, and Crystal on the right. random fact: Our baptismal pool is heated. I thought that was cool. A hot tub in the church. lol. That's just food for thought.

Rainy day, pankakes, popcorn, and a vampire-flick

Well this photo was easier than the last. Haha. Inside pictures are so much easier, but outside ones are, for the most part, better. It raining outside. Ugh! I hate rain! Me and mom are about to have pancakes. When I was little I called them "Panny Cakes". Lol. How embarrassing, but I don't care. Childhood memories are the best. Then we'll probably watch a flick. Probably Twilight! Best movie ever! I cannot wait for New Moon to come out. My best friend hates it, but I'm going to have to convince her to give it a chance. I know if she watched it she would love it. she says vampires creep her out. Ha.

I just took this photo and it took forever! Would you believe me if I told you I carried a chair half a mile to take this? I really am in need of a tripod. I could have done a ground shot but I didn't want to. You'll find it surprising I have put my camera in trees to take a picture before. Ha. I practically had to bush whack my way to this meadow that is down the road from my house! Who knew a chair could be such a bother? By the time I got home I was dripping sweat and ready to burn the forest! I hope it was worth it.

Brush strokes

Today me and some of my friends from Y-Club started a mural at our school. Oh! I mean Patriots for Christ. We changed the name. Still haven't gotten used to it. Anyway, we primed the wall today and are suppose to actually paint it sometime next week. We used a retro projector, which is probably from the stone age, to get the image and then traced it on the walls. The primer was really sticky and is hard to get off. So thanks to Lacey, who painted the smiley face on my arm above, I will have to scrub for an hour to be clean. Hahaha. Some people say our mural was sideways, but if it is people can just turn their heads sideways. While we were painting we discussed music. Everything from how slipknot scares me to how perverted lady Gaga is. Speaking of music, I heard "Love drunk" by Boys Like Girls today. It's an awesome song that I can't get out of my head. I used to be love drunk, but now I'm hung over. I'll love ya forever! The mural should be done sometime next week. So when it's done I'll post a pic.

Oink! oink!

Well today we had a note sent home from school about, of course, the swine flu. There is actually two confirmed cases @ a school not far from where I live. It trips me out how this originated from pigs! From the very animal that we make bacon from comes an epidimec. This disease is spreading far and wide. I believe it started in Mexico, correct me if I'm wrong. Doctors strongly advise you to stay home if you have symptoms like fever, runny nose, soar throat, and coughing. Actually, my throat is kinda soar. Great! I'm getting swine flu. Quarintine! I just got this mental image of doctors locking me in a plastic bubbe. Wow. Lol jk. Although it's kinda funny, it's really serious. This disease is spreading really fast and is highly contagious. the disease isn't spread by pigs, like most people think. It is a respiratory disease of pigs that somehow affected humans. So if you have a pet pig, your fine. i saw this image and just had to post it. L.M.F.O.

Heart of stone

Life is beautiful. Life sucks. Life is full of accomplishments. Life is full of false hopes. Life is a gift. Life is a curse. However you perspective, life has it's ups and downs. Somedays are totally bliss, and others you feel like your a waste of space. If your anything like me you feel like your just taking up space allot. Lately I have realized that it is simply a longing in your heart. You dont feel like you are fulfilling your purpose. What is our purpose? What is our life about? These are very common questions that everyone ask at some point in there life. If you havn't discovered your purpose yet, it's closer than you think. Actually, it's a "he". Jesus Christ. That longing is simply the empty space inside of you. You can try to fill it with other things like money, fame, and friends. Only Jesus can fill that hole. If you dont believe me try and fill it. You may fill it, but it won't last. The only person that will fill that empty space completely died on a cross for the sins of the world. Having a relationship with him is the only thing that isn't temporary. Everything else is temporary, but God never changes. Life is nothing but a test of faith, refining you for what your meant to be.

Take Notes

Here is a new picture i just did. It's called Post it monster. It's made of simply 4 sticky notes and tape. It's inspired by Mitchell Davis, who came up with the idea of sticking post its on your face. I wonder how bored he was when he invented it. Ha. But I'm glad he did, because it's super rad. Mitchell Davis is a insanely funny comedian. He has the coolest hair, just saying Hahaha. Check out his videos on YouTube. One of my favorites is "Meezy". L.M.F.O! He is hilarious! He takes the stupidest stuff and makes it roll in the floor funny :D.

This morning my mother, who I love to death, went to do a commercial! Today she is expected to do a commercial, interview, and a photoshoot! I wanted to go so bad, but alas i have school. Ugh! Anyway, it's possible she will be on a billboard! wow that's an akward situation to picture. Your riding down the road with your friends and someone says, " Isn't that your mom Dillan?". Wow talk about wierd. Your mom on a giant billboard. hahaha. If that happened my I wouldn't let my mom hear the end of it. Hahaha.

Oh yea, I almost forgot. my youth pastor, which is amazing, just had an addition to his family. Mrs. Terri, his wife, gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl. They named her Mollie Elizabeth:) How awesome is that?

Another thing is I made it through my first week of school!!!!! Yes. Only like a hundred eighty days till summer again. But I'm not ready for summer. I'm ready for winter! Winter is Ah-mazing! It's the best time of the year. Layered clothing, hot chocolate, campfires, CHRISTmas, and hours of laying on the heater! Hahaha. Winter is so awesome! I can't wait.

Unreliable Technology

Well today hasn't been so good. My computer is being jank!

Probably have another virus. Gosh technology is so stupid @ times. What's even wierder is the fact that it works for my parents. But that's probably because they only get

on facebook. My blog is the only thing that will really load properly. My myspace (Goshtomickey@yahoo.com) wont let me approve comments or friend request. Ugh! For technology to be so usefull it sucks. I won't even load my favorite photographer's blog (Alexevans.net/). I feel like one of those people on tv that has slow internet and then Geek Squad saves them. Hahaha. Where is the guy wityh the jet pack to fix my computer? HELP!

Just keep smiling

Ever have a day where you dont feel like smiling? Well my personality is smiling. I always look happy, or so i'm told. Often when I feel bad i just smile anyway.

Usually smiling makes me feel better. Smiling actually

releases a chemical that makes you feel better. So yea, smiling releases

the happy chemical. Hahaha. I often find that if I think about what I am

blessed with, I do feel better. There's always someone worse off than you.

So smile it looks good on you:)

Anticonformity

Anticonformity. A big word for most, but to me it's an anthem. It originally was one of my favorite songs by Krystal Meyers, but as time went on I began to understand

its meaning. Me being a firm believer in Jesus Christ I am set apart from the world.

I am different from the world, because I have discovered my

purpose in life. I have found The Truth, The Way, and The life. Living a christian life can be very hard. There are so many obstacles and traps that the world throws

at you constantly. Don't get me wrong being a christian is a blast, but the bible says you will be persecuted. There is no doubt

about it. Satan is going to come at you HARD. A dangerous thing I face every now and again is comfort. Some times Christians get burned out or loose their spiritual

high. It's inevitable that you are always going to be perfect with God.

there are going to be times where you

you will doubt God. That's totally normal. A remedy to this endurance. Keep searching for God's will and seek him.

Ask him to reveal things to you that

will make you closer to him. It can be really hard at times, but it's worth it. I'm laughing at the fact that I can use this advice sometimes to. Hahaha. So dare to be different than your friends. Dare to be different than the world.

Back to school

Where did summer go? I have asked myself this question so mant times. Today we went back to school. I'll be honest, the night before I was a nervous wreck. One of my many faults is that I worry. I worry about what will probably never happen and fear the unknown. I was so nervous, I had an awful nightmare and woke up drenched in sweat. I know worry is a sin, but I'm not perfect. I have been praying all week that God would provide. He did. He always does. The first day really was'nt so bad. I got to see all my friends that I missed over the summer. I got a good schedule and for the most part have a friend in all my classes. So all that worrying for nothing. God always answers my prayers in some way, shape, form, or fashion. He can do the same for you.

PHOTOFILTRE!

Recently i downloaded Photofiltre. Its FREE! This program allows mo to edit, add to, and crunk up my photos. Its really cool and i already have the hang of it. My mind has already conjured up tons of ideas for editing now that I have Photofiltre. There is so many things you can do to just one photo. Such as: Black and white, textures, crop, blending multiple pictures, and adding cool backgrounds and effects. Thanks Mom & Dad for letting me download it!@
